Author Agreement

 

Welcome to the Journal of Premier Research! We're thrilled to have you as a contributor to our esteemed publication.

 

This Author Agreement ("Agreement") establishes a legally binding contract between you and the Journal of Premier Research ("Journal", "we", "us", "our"), delineating the terms and conditions governing the utilization of Writer Content (as defined below) that you provide through our platform, situated on our website and mobile application (collectively referred to as the "Platform").

 

Acceptance and Changes to Agreements

By utilizing the Platform as an Author, you acknowledge and consent to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement. Your continued use of the Platform signifies your ongoing acceptance of these terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to utilize the Platform under this Agreement. If you are agreeing to this Agreement on behalf of an organization or entity, you affirm that you have the requisite authority to bind such entity to this Agreement.

If you disagree with any aspect of this Agreement, you may not use the Platform. For inquiries or concerns regarding this Agreement or the Platform, please reach out to us at email.

We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time, with any changes becoming effective immediately unless stated otherwise. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any revisions, and your continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

Account Creation, Suspension, and Termination

To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account ("Account"). By registering for an Account, you agree to provide accurate and current information, maintaining its accuracy throughout your use of the Platform. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your Account credentials and must promptly notify us of any suspected security breaches.

We retain the discretion to suspend or terminate your Account and/or access to the Platform if you violate any provision of this Agreement. We shall not be liable for any consequences resulting from such suspension or termination.

You may terminate your Account at any time by following the designated procedures or contacting us directly.

 

Ownership and Licenses

Any content you generate, upload, or share on the Platform ("Writer Content") remains your intellectual property and is protected under relevant copyright and intellectual property laws. By providing Writer Content, you grant the Journal a worldwide, nonexclusive, sublicensable, royalty-free, fully paid-up, transferable, irrevocable, and perpetual license to utilize, modify, distribute, and display your Writer Content within the scope of the Platform's operation.

The Journal retains ownership and control over the Platform and its related assets, including but not limited to text, images, software, and other materials provided through the Platform.

 

Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any Writer Content at our discretion and without prior notice. You may request the removal of your Writer Content by contacting us directly, understanding that it may take a reasonable amount of time to process such requests. However, certain Writer Content may remain accessible on the Platform even after removal.

 

Credits and Name and Likeness

​

You will be credited for your contributions to Writer Content as determined by the Journal. Additionally, you grant the Journal the right to utilize your name, likeness, and related attributes ("Writer Likeness") in connection with the publication and promotion of the Platform.

 

Pricing and Payments

​

The Journal reserves the right to implement fees for accessing specific features of the Platform. Advance notice will be provided for any such fees, and you agree to pay all applicable charges incurred through your Account.

 

Representations and Warranties

​

By providing Writer Content, you represent and warrant that:

- You have the authority to enter into this Agreement.
- Your Writer Content is original and does not infringe upon the rights of third parties.
- You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- You will not engage in any harmful or prohibited activities on the Platform.

 

Indemnity

​

You agree to indemnify and hold the Journal harmless from any liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Platform or any breach of this Agreement.

 

Third Party Materials

​

The Platform may include content from third parties ("Third-Party Materials"). You acknowledge that we are not responsible for Third-Party Materials and assume all risks associated with their use.

 

Disclaimers

​

The Platform is provided on an "as-is" basis, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Platform.

​

Limitation of Liability

​

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Journal shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of $100 or the amounts paid to you in connection with your Writer Content.

 

Term; Termination; Survival

​

This Agreement remains in effect until terminated by either party. Certain provisions, including those pertaining to ownership, licenses, indemnity, and limitations of liability, will survive termination.

 

General

​

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Journal regarding its subject matter, superseding any prior agreements. You are not an employee or agent of the Journal, and this Agreement does not create any partnership or joint venture. If any provision of this Agreement is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

 

Journal of Premier Research

Authors publishing in the Journal of Premier Research are subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement and will publish their manuscripts under a Creative Commons license.
